Teaching...

Teaching is very important to me. I am an educator at heart -- over the years, teaching has become more of a shared learning experience with my students. I have had the good fortune of some terrific young minds in my class who are off to doing some amazing things in their lives.

And..

  • Starting Fall 2017, I joined the Newark College of Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology as an Assistant Professor. Here, I hold joint appointments in the School of Applied Engineering and Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Computer Science.
  • From 2015 to 2017, I moved to the LeBow College of Business, Drexel University where I developed Business Analytics classes at graduate and undergraduate levels. It was a terrific experience to bridge technology and engineering centric coursework with a sharp business focus. I had some phenomenal students in my classes!
  • In 2013, I was selected as one of 73 educators from across the US to participate in the National Academy of Engineering’s fifth Frontiers of Engineering Education symposium in Irvine, California.
  • Starting September 2013, I serve as the Director of the Second Year Engineering Curriculum at Drexel University.
  • Starting November 2011, I joined the Drexel College of Engineering as an Assistant Teaching Professor.
  • In 2011, I was awarded the Freshmen Design Fellowship to help design and develop the Freshmen Engineering curriculum at Drexel University.
  • In 2010, I was awarded the Continuing Excellence in Teaching Award for my teaching services at Drexel University.
  • In 2008, Drexel College of Engineering awarded me the Outstanding Graduate Student Teacher award for my services as a teaching assistant and instructor at Drexel University.

Pedagogical Ecosystems for Engineering Education

Picture
My current efforts focus on creating a pedagogical ecosystem that introduces and sustains in the classroom, novel course content, pedagogical methodologies, and evaluation techniques for engineering and analytics students. This pedagogical ecosystem is being implemented in foundational courses such as Computational Laboratories, Business Analytics, Engineering Data Analytics, and Engineering Design.

Classes Taught at New Jersey Institute of Technology and Drexel University

I have taught several classes at the undergraduate and graduate level as a Teaching Assistant, an Instructor,  and Assistant Teaching/Clinical Professor, and now as an Assistant Professor.

Here is a complete list.
